MARIN COUNTY ART STUDIO

THE STUDIO

A creative studio in San Rafael where original artwork, reclaimed wood furnishings, and custom finishes are crafted by hand for residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

JULES WORSHAM

For the past two decades, Jules’ work has spanned photography (film and digital), graphic design, alternative printmaking, abstract art, and large-scale mixed media—culminating in a practice that thoughtfully blends these disciplines into richly layered work.

Her work has been commissioned by clients including Le Méridien Saigon (Starwood Hotels & Resorts), Restoration Hardware (RH Scenic Team), Anthropologie, as well as restaurants, bars, fashion brands, salons, music festivals, hospitality spaces, and private residences—including a Frank Lloyd Wright home.

Raised in Texas (Louisiana-born, March 1980), Jules has traveled extensively, developing a broad appreciation for architecture, materials, and the ways thoughtfully designed spaces influence how we feel. Those experiences continue to shape both her work and creative perspective.

Today, her practice focuses on original abstract artwork, reclaimed wood furnishings, and custom interior and exterior finishes—creating beautifully weathered, perfectly imperfect spaces through texture, natural materials, and craftsmanship.

“Simplicity, with dabs of imperfection, sends me to my ‘bad is good’ happy place. You’ll usually find me barefoot in my swimmies, covered in paint, probably making messes in the sun.”

ABOUT THE ARTIST

CHRIS ZIEMBA

Born and raised on a Nebraska farm (March 1985), Chris has always been drawn to working with his hands. With a background in pottery and ceramics, he now spends his days creating art, building custom furniture, and finding inspiration in nature. If he’s not in the studio, you’ll probably find him out fishing.

While he has explored a variety of styles—from landscapes to cityscapes—he is currently deeply engaged in abstract work, exploring form, texture, and color in dynamic ways.

Inspired by years spent exploring the landscapes of Colorado and Marin County, Chris brings their light, texture, and organic movement into his art, creating pieces that feel both grounded and expansive.

“Gone fishing.”

Some artwork is shown within concept-rendered interiors to illustrate scale, mood, and design possibilities. All artwork featured is original; the surrounding interiors are artistic visualizations created to communicate how each piece can live within a space.
